Hollis Witherspoon studied her craft at Princeton University where she was recognized with the sole Director's Prize for Acting during her study. Continuing her education after Princeton, Witherspoon studied the Meisner Technique for two years in New York City at the William Esper Studio before beginning her career in entertaining.
A standout performer in theatre and independent and short film, Witherspoon has recently branched out to work in commercials (Microsoft, Canon, JetBlue), radio (hosting the WBAI 'The Artsy Fartsy Show') and television (appearing in The Onion's SportsDome).
